Youth and Adult Rowing for the Ohio Valley
Basic Membership grants adults 18 and over voting privileges, as well as use of OVRC indoor equipment and facilities. You may use your own equipment on the water.
Youth - Junior = rowing under the age of 18
To qualify for storage you must be an OVRC member in good standing. Rack space is limited and available on a first come, first served basis.
Spring: January through May
Summer: June through August
Fall: September through November
Winter - Nov through Jan
Allows access to the OVRC rowing equipment.
Fee is waived for those participating in some OVRC programs including adult group and private lessons.
All fees are based on a calendar year beginning January 1 and ending December 31. New members joining after September 30th will be given a membership that will be paid up through the following year. Fees may be paid weekly or monthly upon prior arrangements.

A signed OVRC Waiver form must accompany the membership application for each individual who plans on rowing.
We offer a flexible and affordable introduction to the sport of rowing through our learn-to-row programs.
Youth - Learn to Row Any high school or middle school student can try out rowing and learn basic rowing skills during one of our introductory programs, which are scheduled at varying times throughout the year, including the summer.

Adult - Learn to Row A program focusing on the beginner rower or those returning after a long break from rowing. This program stresses rowing safety and rowing fundamentals such as introductions to rowing shells, stroke technique and conditioning. Lessons costs will be deducted from membership fee. Individual - Adult rowing Adults pay for basic membership and get 3 semi-private lessons. If you wish to continue rowing you will need to pay an equipment fee. Contact: John Apgar for more information 304-488-3082 or 304-464-5213
