All past and current rowers, boosters, and supporters, are cordially invited to attend, as well as youth and adults interested in learning more about rowing.
Fifty years ago Dr. Oliver H. Brundage started a rowing program at Lake Washington. There have been several thousand youth and adults row at the OVRC during the past 50 years. Please join us as we celebrate our accomplishments and look to the future.
Our featured guests include:
Helen Albright
- former Mayor of Parkersburg, leased the old abandoned water treatment plant to the OVRC with the belief that it could be transformed into a first class rowing and training center. We are pleased to say we have succeeded.
Mayor Bob Newell
- an enthusiastic supporter of healthy life style activities and the development of the Parkersburg waterfront.
Babs Brundage Chapin
- daughter of Dr. Brundage and one of the Rowing Club's most avid supporters
